The Partner Technical Specialist (PTS-T) plays a crucial role in this mission by developing the technical capacity of both Ecosystem Partners and the Select Client Segment. In this role, you will influence and develop the Ecosystem's technical capacity, leading to repeatable growth that ultimately increases IBM’s revenue. Your technical expertise and ability to deliver impactful solutions are what set you and IBM apart in the ecosystem space.
Responsibilities:
- Client Strategy Development: Create strategic plans for clients, focusing specifically on IT Automation solutions.
- IBM IT Automation Solution Design: Define practical IBM IT Automation solutions that enhance existing technology stacks.
- Proof of Concept Delivery: Provide proof of concepts and simplify technical concepts for client comprehension.
- Building Credibility and Trust: Establish credibility and trust with clients, essential for closing complex technology deals.
Preferred Education:
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the IT Automation and FinOps market to effectively consult and advise clients.
- Knowledge of IBM IT Automation and FinOps solutions (e.g., Instana, Turbonomic, Concert, Apptio, Flexera).
- Experience with competitive IT Automation and FinOps solutions (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog).
- Experience with RH Openshift / Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.).
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Knowledge of Infrastructure automation (preferably HashiCorp Terraform).
- Knowledge of RH Ansible.
