What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and nurtures relationships with key partners to foster collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Supports partnership agreement negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and align with company objectives.
  • Collaborates with internal cross-functional teams such as sales, product management, or marketing to develop joint offerings or solutions with partners.
  • Drives initiatives to integrate partner technologies or services into the company's products or platforms.
  • Manages go-to-market initiatives and campaigns to promote joint offerings or solutions.
  • Tracks partner performance against established metrics and KPIs.
  • Identifies areas for improvement or expansion with existing partnerships.
  • Optimizes processes and workflows related to partnership management to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Educates internal stakeholders on the value and benefits of partnerships.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities that could impact partnerships.
  • Manages contract renewals and amendments as necessary throughout the partnership lifecycle.
  • Performs any other related tasks as required.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Seasoned analytical skills and excellent business acumen.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent team player who maintains integrity and pays attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills to renew partnership agreements.
  • Knowledge of strategic partner programs.
  • Great presentation, verbal, and writing skills, capable of communicating complex ideas effectively across diverse audience levels and functions.

  • Strong project management skills to effectively manage partnership initiatives/programs.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • Business development experience, preferably in an IT services environment.
  • Experience in channel sales or channel management role.
  • Experience establishing and managing alliance programs that produce revenue.
  • Proven history of working independently and with cross-functional sales, marketing, and product management teams to achieve alliance objectives.
  • Experience leveraging contacts to build mutually beneficial partnerships to drive revenue.
