As a Passive Technical Support Resident Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair passive network components, including cabling, connectors, and related infrastructure.
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems, including fiber optic and coaxial cables.
- Conduct site surveys to assess and document existing passive network setups.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of passive network systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to passive network components.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to support overall network infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all work activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in networking or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining passive network components.
- Strong understanding of network cabling standards and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.

- Proficiency in English is required.
