The Patriot Electronics Systems Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) systems through the expert diagnosis and troubleshooting of electronic faults. This position requires the use of advanced Depot Test Equipment (DTE) to perform precise diagnostics and repairs, with a focus on analyzing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and power supplies to identify and address malfunctions.

The technician is responsible for maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures while performing all tasks, ensuring both personal and team safety. Technical assistance and support are provided as needed, with the technician serving as a valuable resource for resolving complex issues and optimizing system functionality. Engineering documents and electronic circuit diagrams are utilized to guide repair efforts and maintain compliance with technical specifications. Additionally, the technician contributes to on-the-job training (OJT) initiatives, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team. By performing these critical duties, the Patriot Electronics Systems Technician supports the sustainment and operational integrity of RSADF systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults.
  • Using Depot Test Equipment (DTE).
  • Enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
  • Providing technical assistance and support when needed.
  • Analyzing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and power supplies.
  • Reading engineering documents and electronic circuit diagrams.
  • Participating in On-the-Job Training (OJT) when needed.

Qualifications

  • A university/Diploma degree in Electronics.
  • More than two (2) years prior experience in troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and final inspection of defense systems.
  • Experience in soldering, splicing, and wiring is preferred.
  • Knowledge in reading and understanding engineering documents and electronic circuit diagrams.
  • General knowledge of maintenance workshop procedures.
