Responsibilities
- Take all precautions to protect the environment.
- Maintain self-safety and co-workers' safety, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Participate in internal training programs as required by management.
- Engage in daily toolbox talks and follow instructions from site coordinators or crew leaders.
- Use and maintain safety devices provided for job execution.
- Properly use all tools under one’s control and select the right tools for each job.
- Assist fellow employees in understanding safety attitudes and requirements.
- Report for work in appropriate clothing, ensuring safety from hazards.
- Perform work safely and be alert to potential dangers.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure proper housekeeping.
- Execute advanced NDT tasks such as Tube Inspection, Tank Floor Inspection, and Guided Wave Applications in accordance with procedural requirements.
- Identify required probes and accessories based on the type of scope and application for various advanced NDT techniques.
- Interpret data accurately without issuing false calls.
- Prepare final inspection reports in compliance with approved procedures.
- Conduct inspection activities based on project scope and site conditions to minimize waiting time and resource wastage.
- Interpret troubleshooting methods to reduce maintenance needs on advanced NDT equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues with advanced NDT equipment effectively.
- Select proper methods for inspection and interpret indications skillfully.
- Follow technical procedures and safety instructions diligently.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years post-certification experience as PCN PAUT Level 2, totaling 5+ years of overall experience.
- Experience in Phased Array UT specifically within the Oil & Gas sector (including Piping, Pipeline, and Equipment).
Certification
- PCN PAUT Level 2 certification required.
