Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in payment system projects within the banking or financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of payment systems, including SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, card payment networks, and emerging payment technologies.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and design patterns, with experience in designing scalable and resilient payment solutions.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect, are desirable.

- System Integration: Lead integration efforts between payment systems and other banking systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance the scalability of payment system architecture.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks in payment systems implementation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging payment technologies and trends, providing recommendations for their adoption.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to payment systems architecture and implementation guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of payment systems infrastructure.
- Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert on payment systems, sharing knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders.
