The Global Clearing team within Payments is responsible for the day-to-day management, development, and delivery of the company's USD, EUR, and GBP wires proposition, as well as CLS and Clearinghouse Settlement services. The Global Clearing segment moves over $3 trillion worth of wholesale payments every day. This area is currently experiencing a technological evolution aimed at digitalizing payments, designing client-centric user interfaces, and providing real-time analytics—all while enhancing efficiency and security.
As a Global Clearing Product Solutions Specialist Analyst, you will address complex client needs and support the growth of the Global Clearing payments product suite, focusing on the Payments Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in the Middle East & Africa. You will collaborate with FIG Sales, Global Clearing Product Management, Business Management, and Client Service teams to ensure optimal client engagement and growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the Global Clearing strategy for growth and market share in cross-border payments across the Middle East & Africa.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through data analytics in the FI segment and drive business initiatives from origination to closure, partnering with product teams and influencing FIG Sales/Relationship Management colleagues.
- Prepare pitchbooks for client interactions and follow-up materials as necessary.
- Respond to client Requests for Proposals (RfPs) and price client deals for payment & clearing services, collaborating with Product Management partners when needed.
- Work closely with the Global Clearing Product Solutions Specialist team, Payments FIG Sales, Product Management peers, and Business Management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong interest in the Payments sector, especially correspondent banking & cross-border payments.
- Proven data analytics experience, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking and working semi-autonomously.
- Proactive and accountable for initiatives from inception to completion.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret complex data and drive actionable business insights.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in product management and/or sales within cash management/cross-border payments is a plus.
