Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration testing across web applications, APIs, networks, wireless systems, and cloud environments.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and exploit identified security weaknesses using tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and Kali Linux.
  • Document security findings clearly and prepare detailed penetration testing reports with risk-based recommendations.
  • Work with technical teams to support remediation activities and validate fixes through retesting.
  • Use scripting and automation techniques to improve testing efficiency and develop custom security tools where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or cybersecurity.
  • Certification in CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or an equivalent industry-recognized certification.
  • Strong proficiency in vulnerability assessment, exploitation techniques, and security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and Kali Linux.
  • Hands-on experience conducting penetration tests on web applications, APIs, networks, wireless systems, and cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, secure coding practices, threat modeling, and security risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and custom security tool development.
