About the Role
Lead the People & Culture function on-site at the hotel, working closely with the Cluster General Manager and the company Shared Services - Cluster Director of People & Culture. Provide daily support to Heartists and department leaders while coordinating Learning & Development activities to strengthen skills, service standards, and employee growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the hotel’s daily People & Culture operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Act as the hotel’s on-site People & Culture contact, providing accessible support and guidance to Heartists and department heads.
- Work closely with the company Shared Services to implement policies, processes, and people initiatives.
- Handle employee concerns and disciplinary matters with fairness, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Provide on-site Learning & Development support in coordination with the company Shared Services L&D team.
- Identify training needs with department heads and coordinate the hotel’s annual training plan and calendar.
- Facilitate orientation, brand induction, and relevant training sessions, and support departmental trainers.
- Coordinate mandatory learning, including human rights and safeguarding programmes, and maintain accurate training records.
- Monitor training completion and effectiveness, following up with departments on outstanding requirements.
- Support talent development, succession planning, internal mobility, and career progression.
- Lead hotel engagement, recognition, wellbeing, and inclusion activities, including engagement survey action plans.
- Maintain employee records and HR system data, and coordinate payroll inputs, benefits, and leave administration.
- Support manning reviews, workforce planning, budgeting, reporting, and audits.
- Coordinate employee services, including visas, insurance, and accommodation, with the relevant teams.
- Ensure alignment with applicable employment requirements, company policies, and People & Culture standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality People & Culture management role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Working knowledge of UAE employment requirements and HR administration.
- Experience supporting Learning & Development within a hotel, including training coordination, facilitation, and completion tracking.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support a multicultural team and handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgement.
- Confidence collaborating with hotel leaders, departmental trainers, and shared-services teams.
- Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and HR and training reporting.
- A degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous company experience and familiarity with a shared-services model are an advantage.
