What You Will Do:
- Develop and propose order plans and trim ratio plans to determine production volumes by model, channel, grade, and color.
- Ensure these plans align with and achieve the agreed-upon sales objectives.
- Prepare and analyze data to negotiate optimally with OEMs for the supply of models.
- Continuously review supply requirements with channels and management to achieve the desired Month of Stock (MOS) ratio.
- Prepare and build grade mix plans for each model.
- Incorporate these plans into monthly orders to maximize revenue.
- Prepare and forecast accurate trends by analyzing past data on color, grade, and channels.
- Utilize these insights to maintain an optimum supply across the entire range and grades.
- Prepare analysis for the logical rationalization of the lineup by reducing the number of materials.
- Aim to increase efficiency and reduce maintenance costs through these rationalizations.
- Prepare a comprehensive presentation on the Sales Stock Order Plan (SSOP).
- Present order recommendations and the rationale behind them to senior management and obtain sign-off on the proposed monthly production volumes.
- Conduct regular meetings with other departments within the company group (Polestar, the company, Denza, Yangwang).
- Align sales forecasting, monthly targets, campaign plans, marketing activities, product changes, and logistics requirements with the order plan.
- Ensure these efforts collectively maintain the health of the stock.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree with demonstrated experience in planning and numbers.
- 5 years’ experience in automotive brands.
- Experience from EV specific brands, especially Chinese is desirable.
- Supply chain knowledge.
- Driving commercial results with measurable key performance indicators.
- Proficient in AI tools (CoPilot, Claude), PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and SAP.
- Data Analytics tools / usage of AI Tools to deliver faster results (Claude etc.).
About the Team:
You will join the Planning and Supply team, supporting the company, Polestar, Denza, and Yangwang within the company Electric Mobility. Working closely with sales, marketing, product, logistics and OEM partners, you will align demand forecasts, monthly orders, and model, grade and color mix plans with sales objectives. You will prepare Sales Stock Order Plan (SSOP) recommendations for senior management approval and coordinate supply requirements to maintain healthy stock levels and the desired Month of Stock (MOS) ratio.
