The Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of the company's trading platform infrastructure, including MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), and related technologies. This role ensures platform stability, performance, security, and availability while supporting business operations through technical expertise and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, administer, and maintain MT4 and MT5 trading platforms.
- Monitor platform health and performance to ensure optimal stability.
- Ensure uninterrupted client access to MT4/MT5 services.
- Maintain platform security and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and implement infrastructure changes.
- Integrate and support third-party solutions and plugins.
- Manage user access across trading platforms.
- Design and maintain failover and disaster recovery procedures.
- Generate operational and performance reports.
- Provide technical assistance to internal departments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience administering MT4 and MT5 trading platforms.
- Strong understanding of platform architecture and configurations.
- Experience managing trading platform environments.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Preferred Profile:
- Experience in financial services, online trading, or fintech.
- Familiarity with FIX connectivity.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
