Platform Integration System Engineer

The platform integration system engineer will understand requirements, chair technical meetings, and communicate with weapon system engineers. The role involves writing ICD, planning for test and evaluation, qualifications, and mentoring new system engineers in the department.

Key Accountabilities

• Establish integration requirement documents and end-user requirements
• Establish integration specifications and scope of work
• Establish TEMP and SEMP for platform integration
• Maintain the interfaces between the platform and the weapon
• Oversee new development projects
• Transfer knowledge and assign tasks for new system engineers
• Lead integration projects in the platform integration department

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role
• Extensive experience using AutoCAD & SolidWorks
• Proficient in system engineering documentation
• Experience in upgrading platforms and integrating weapons into platforms
• Ability to deal with end users and customers
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of system logic protocols
• Effective communication and influencing skills
• Analytical thinking and understanding of Lean principles
