The company is seeking a PLC Automation Engineer to join their team in the automotive industry. Location: Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia (On-site)
Work Conditions: Full-time; mobile working 2 to 3 days per week as a global standard

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in automation systems, including TIA portal, S7-1500F, ET200SP, and Unified HMI runtime, specifically in the automotive industry.
  • Minimum 2-3 projects experience in the automotive industry is required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Automation Systems.
  • Monitor and ensure reliability of Profinet network performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support OPC UA configuration and interface with MES.
  • Provide training on automation systems as needed.
  • Collaborate with customer production and engineering teams to enhance system performance.
  • Support routine maintenance and updates for optimal operation of PLC systems.
  • Configuring and installing network devices and implementing security measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., electrical, automation, or related discipline).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Experience with SINEC and SINEMA systems implementation is a plus.
