We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor - E&I with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to join our team for the company Onshore, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position will be located on-site, focusing on supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all construction activities executed by EPC contractors. The Construction Supervisor will ensure compliance with the company standards, project specifications, approved drawings, HSE requirements, quality procedures, and project schedules, acting as the PMC representative on-site to guarantee safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of construction works.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate and formulate Construction Supervision, management, coordination, administration, and strict enforcement of the Construction scope included as part of FEED/EPC Contract to meet client objectives for timely Work Order completion.
- Coordinate the FEED/EPC Contractor from construction through commissioning and handing over of FEED/EPC works.
- Review and provide input to the overall construction/installation plan, ensuring efficient constructability as per EPC Packages developed by the FEED contractor.
- Ensure compliance of construction/installation plan, procedures, and requirements with the EPC Scope of Work.
- Coordinate and assist with fabrication works at contractor’s or subcontractor’s fabrication facilities.
- Supervise, monitor, and inspect the work of EPC contractor and subcontractors at the construction location according to the company Onshore policy.
- Ensure adherence by the EPC contractor to safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Identify construction slippage and recommend corrective actions to the EPC contractor.
- Provide construction input to estimates as requested.
- Review design documents and provide constructability input.
- Undertake facility/site visits to support construction activities and liaise with EPC contractors.
- Identify necessary Specialist Vendor Support, Tools, and Equipment to implement scope.
- Interface with the company Offshore’s Operations groups as necessary.
- Participate in site surveys and generate reports as required.
- Formulate construction deliverables in accordance with project procedures for content and accuracy.
- Assist with construction input for Bid preparation and development of requirements for Bid estimates.
- Maintain thorough knowledge and experience of construction completion procedures and Pre-commissioning activities.
- Engage in effective Change Management.
- Liaise closely with the company Onshore PMT team regarding design and technical data.
- Coordinate and carry out timely Constructability reviews aligned with Model progression.
- Ensure Constructability Readiness reviews are addressed to meet planned deliverable timings.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team for material and equipment deliverables alignment with overall schedules.
- Coordinate with Project controls on progress of work order issuance and proposed completion dates.
- Participate in HSE improvement activities, promoting HSE practices throughout construction development.
- Maintain in-depth working knowledge of relevant construction activities.
- Review engineering design drawings and challenge work content for improvements without compromising safety.
Qualifications
What makes you remarkable
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10-15 years of pipeline construction experience in oil and gas projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a PMC or client representative role.
- The company onshore project experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- ASME B31.4/B31.8
- API standards
- The company onshore specifications
- Pipeline welding and NDT requirements
- Hydrotesting and commissioning procedures.
