Position

The company is seeking a highly qualified PMIS Functional Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will apply your expertise in the implementation of project management information systems across major client programs and contribute as an integral member of the implementation delivery team at the company in EMEA. The PMIS Functional Specialist possesses the necessary implementation experience with PMIS systems, project management skills, technology skills, and handling experience within the project and program environment to operate independently on assigned projects while also leading a PMIS technical specialist on the job.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation, configuration, and administration of PMIS to meet client needs and our project requirements.
  • Lead requirement elicitation workshops with the company management teams on the Program and lead information-gathering sessions with various stakeholders to analyze requirements and engineer solutions on PMIS that meet business needs on the program.
  • Ensure the PMIS system is in line with the PMPs written by function leads and SMEs on the Program, highlighting any deviations to the program leadership team.
  • Guide PMIS Technical specialists in addressing client systems-related integration scenarios between technologies such as PMIS and ERP.
  • Implement Dashboard/report designs in Power BI as received from the program reporting manager based on the data model built by PMIS technical specialists.
  • Prepare functional documentation such as requirement documents and user guides to deliver training programs to the program user team.
  • Manage day-to-day software support operations with PMIS technical specialists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Application, IT, or a relevant engineering field from an accredited University/Institute.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience on IT implementation projects handling design adoption and rollout of PMIS.
  • Experience implementing/administering industry-leading PMIS solutions, especially PM Web or Unifier, with proficiency in Advanced Query-Based Reporting with SSRS or SQL reporting for BI reporting.
  • Ability to use Business Analytics tools, preferably with skills in writing DAX Queries and SQL queries for report writing.
  • Knowledge of project management and construction management environments with 5+ years of program experience.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic speaker is an advantage.
