Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of cost and commercial management, including planning, benchmarking, reporting, cashflow, procurement, contracts, and claims.
  • Develop and enhance project cost control databases for accurate cost tracking.
  • Establish project control budgets aligned with benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management Information System (PMIS) developers to create dashboards and reports in PowerBI.
  • Monitor and control project accruals and commitments against budget constraints.
  • Manage senior stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of the Cost & Commercial function.
  • Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and reports, including programme cost management systems and dashboards.
  • Coordinate commercial processes with other functional leads and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders, including contractors, PMCs, and client teams.

Qualifications:

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience in high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience and a relevant degree; commitment to personal development with chartered status or working towards a comparable qualification.
  • Outstanding data management abilities, especially in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and a solid understanding of PowerBI.
  • Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) is crucial; in-country experience is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and meeting management skills, including the ability to present to C-Suite clients.
  • Digital proficiency and the ability to foster strong client relationships.
