Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement portfolio strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Assess and prioritize projects or investments based on potential returns, risks, and strategic importance.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust the portfolio to maximize value.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with the portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding portfolio performance and strategy.
  • Optimize resource allocation across the portfolio to ensure efficient use of capital, time, and personnel.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments that may impact the portfolio.
  • Lead initiatives to improve portfolio management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A PMP certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing projects from inception through completion.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) with a solid understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven ability to motivate and guide project teams effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating portfolio risks.
