Job Description:
- Knowledge of payment transactions and related concepts is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Android Gradle settings and libraries.
- Understanding of POS application concepts for various Android POS/SoftPOS machines (e.g., VeriFone, Ingenico, XAC, PAX, Ezzetab).
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment.
- Proficiency in writing clean, testable code, along with unit tests.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Git, Bitbucket, Ansible, Artifactory, RxJava, Dagger 2, Retrofit.
- Experience with distributed messaging and push notification services.
- Comfort working in a Linux environment and performing shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with DBMS/RDBMS, OOP, SOA, WPF, WCF, and web services.
- A desire to research and improve current development processes.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Additional knowledge in MySQL and MongoDB is a plus.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years in software development, specifically in POS/payment applications.
- 3+ years in Implementation and DevOps support.
- 3+ years with Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin.
- Strong Kotlin expertise, with published apps preferred.
- Experience with Android Studio, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with POS/SoftPOS devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
