The successful applicant will engage in projects focusing on robotics, computer vision, control systems, and machine learning security. Responsibilities include algorithm design, implementation of prototypes (primarily in MATLAB/Python), deployment to robotics applications, and experimental testing on unmanned vehicle swarms. Proficiency in tools used in machine learning and embedded systems is required, including C, C++, Linux, PyTorch, TensorFlow, MATLAB, Python, and the Robot Operating System.
This position welcomes PhDs with less than 5 years of experience post-degree, who are expected to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment with other researchers, faculty, and students. Applicants should demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
