Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with other post-doctoral associates, PhD and undergraduate students, and faculty members.
  • Engage in projects involving the development of distributed multi-agent autonomous systems, including distributed monitoring algorithms that allow agents to autonomously interact and predict behaviors of one another.
  • Conduct sensor data processing, data fusion, dynamics modeling, multi-agent collaboration algorithms, and introspection of agent behaviors to detect issues such as malfunctions or adversaries.
  • Design algorithms, implement prototypes (e.g., in Matlab/Python), deploy to agents using the Robot Operating System, and perform experimental testing on unmanned vehicle swarms.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as C, C++, Linux, MATLAB, Python, Robot Operating System, Ardupilot, Solidworks, and Gazebo Physics Engine Simulator.
