Requirements:
- PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields (with no more than five years post-receipt of PhD).
- Strong mathematical background and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- High-dimensional probability and concentration/functional inequalities
- Markov processes and stochastic analysis
- Theoretical analysis of neural networks and deep learning
- Foundations of reinforcement learning and bandit algorithms
- Mathematical and algorithmic perspectives on large language models
- Statistical learning theory and complexity analysis
- Automated theorem proving and formal methods
- Random matrix theory and its applications in modern AI systems
