The Division of Engineering at the company seeks to recruit a motivated Post-doctoral Associate with a strong background in Game Theory, Control Systems, and/or Learning Theory to join the research team of Prof. Muhammad Umar B. Niazi. The position focuses on the design and implementation of incentive mechanisms for sociotechnical and cyber-physical-human systems, particularly emphasizing smart mobility and urban transportation networks. The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge research in adaptive incentive mechanism design for complex sociotechnical systems, strategic learning and equilibrium-seeking algorithms in transportation networks, game-theoretic approaches to cybersecurity and security games, and the integration of human behavior modeling in smart mobility systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related fields
- Strong background in game theory, mechanism design, control systems, and/or learning theory
- Programming proficiency and experience with simulation tools
- Excellent publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work Conditions:
The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and research output.
