The Communication Theory and Technologies (CT&T) Research Group in the Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate position under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal. The successful candidate will engage in pioneering research on the physical layer design of wireless communication systems and investigate technologies for 6G and beyond wireless networks.

Qualifications:
- PhD degree in electrical/electronics engineering, telecommunications, or a related field
- Strong background in communication theory, signal processing, and wireless communications
- Extensive experience in PHY layer algorithm design and performance analysis
- Proven track record of publications in relevant IEEE journals and conferences
- Strong verbal and written skills in English
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to pursue independent research
Additional preferred research experience includes:
- Waveform design for emerging spectrum (FR3, MMW, sub-THz/THz)
- Extreme massive MIMO communications
- Analog, digital, and hybrid beamforming architectures
- Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces
- Machine learning for wireless communications
- Hardware-constrained signal processing for wireless communications
- Channel modeling and characterization
