Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Engineering - Dr. Elisabetta Cherchi

The Sustainable and Innovative Transport Demand (SIT-D) at the company is seeking a postdoctoral associate to conduct studies on the use of Immersive Virtual Reality to elicit users’ preferences for innovative transport systems. This role focuses on understanding and modeling consumer behavior and decision processes for sustainable transport modes and innovations, utilizing interdisciplinary approaches including behavioral economics, psychology, neuroscience, and computer science.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Build experiments to understand user decision processes related to innovation
• Collect neurophysiological and other relevant data
• Program and analyze data routines
• Quantitatively analyze the data collected

Qualifications:

• PhD degree or equivalent in a field related to behavioral analysis and mathematical modeling
• Demonstrated experience with neurophysiological measurements and data collections
• Experience with field experiments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Unity platform or Unreal Engine is a plus
