The Smart Materials Lab (Panče Naumov Group) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral candidate in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for materials science. The focus is on structure-property relationships, materials optimization, and generative AI. Candidates must have substantial experience in AI and machine learning methods, particularly in AI-driven materials discovery. The successful applicant will independently lead a project aimed at developing generative AI models to explore structure-property relationships for materials discovery, collaborating closely with experimentalists from the Smart Materials Lab (SML) and the Center for Smart Engineering Materials (CSEM) at NYUAD.
