We are seeking Post-Doctoral Associates who are passionate about Data Science, specifically in the area of Computational Social Science, starting on September 1, 2026. Possible research topics include social media analysis, collaboration and teamwork, gender inequality, diversity, online controlled experiments, and network science. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and hard-working, with a PhD in Data Science, Computational Social Science, Computer Science, or Information Science. Experience in areas such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, or Big Data is required, and relevant skills may include statistical analysis, data management and collection, causal inference, network analysis, graph theory, visualizations, and online tool development. Experience in conducting online controlled experiments is desired but not mandatory. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills in English, have the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and exhibit a strong sense of scientific creativity. Selected candidates will split their time between collaborative research with Bedoor AlShebli, an Assistant Professor in Computational Social Science at NYUAD, and independent research.

Work Conditions: The appointment lasts for three years, with a salary that exceeds internationally competitive rates for Post-Doctoral and Research positions. Additionally, the UAE does not levy income tax.
