The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary research team at the intersection of machine learning, algorithmic fairness, human-computer interaction, and responsible AI. Key responsibilities include developing bias detection tools, building fairness-aware algorithms, and contributing to practical guidelines and theoretical frameworks addressing systemic bias in data-driven systems. Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, HCI, or a closely related field.
- Strong track record of research in areas such as algorithmic fairness, bias in machine learning, ethics in AI, or sociotechnical systems.
- Strong programming and data analysis skills.
- Preferred: Experience working with interdisciplinary research.

Appointment Details:
- The initial appointment will be for 1 year, with the option to renew, totaling no more than 5 years.
- The terms of employment are competitive, offering a salary above international standards for post-doctoral positions, along with substantial benefits such as housing, transportation, travel allowances, educational subsidies for children, full health insurance, and retirement contributions.
