Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements.
- Use Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service to build scalable BI solutions supporting various business functions.
- Perform data modeling and data mapping to support accurate reporting.
- Automate and optimize reporting workflows for timely delivery of insights.
- Integrate and manage data from various sources including Snowflake, SQL databases, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and convert complex data into actionable visualizations.
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric components for building scalable data pipelines and managing data integration.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security throughout the data lifecycle in Microsoft Fabric environments.
- Develop ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data into BI platforms.
- Work with SQL and relational databases to optimize data for reporting and analytics.
- Partner with stakeholders and IT teams to align BI solutions with business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to enhance Power BI adoption.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and BI best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in Power BI reporting, dashboard development, and data modelling.
- Strong expertise in data modelling, data mapping, and integration techniques.
- Proficient in DAX, Power Query M, and data modelling concepts.
- Experience with SQL and relational database management.
- Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Azure Data Services such as Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics and automation.
- Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric certifications.
