Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Preparation: Collect and preprocess data from various sources while ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Data Modeling & Visualization: Build efficient data models in Power BI and develop intuitive dashboards for stakeholder insights.
- Deployment and Integration: Deploy models into production and integrate them into decision-making processes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings clearly and create appealing data visualizations using Power BI.
- Administration: Manage connections, user roles, and ensure secure data transfer between on-premises sources and Power BI services.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments in Power BI and data analysis techniques.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/BI Developer in large-scale organizations; logistics industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in data visualization using Power BI, including strong DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience extracting data from REST APIs to Power BI.
- Python experience is an advantage.
This position seeks candidates currently residing in the UAE only.
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Renewable to Permanent/Long-Term)
