We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Microsoft 365, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly, and secure low-code solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- Develop automated business workflows and approval processes using Power Automate.
- Design and manage data models, tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules using Microsoft Dataverse.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Develop custom connectors and integrate REST APIs where required.
- Build dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT teams throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Configure application security, permissions, environments, and governance in accordance with organizational standards.
- Perform application testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
- Manage application deployments across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, solution architecture, workflows, and support procedures.
- Follow Microsoft Power Platform best practices for ALM, governance, security, scalability, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Power Platform developers where required.
Required Technical Skills
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Power Apps – Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps
- Power Automate
- Microsoft Dataverse
- Power BI
- Power Pages – preferred
- Strong experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with:
- SQL Server
- Dynamics 365
- REST APIs
- Azure services
- Third-party applications
- Good knowledge of Power Platform security, environments, connectors, solutions, and governance.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JSON, and REST APIs is an advantage.
- Understanding of Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID is preferred.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and deployment pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-400, PL-200, or PL-600 will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions.
- Experience working with Dynamics 365.
- Exposure to Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience implementing Power Platform governance and Center of Excellence (CoE) practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
