Practice Manager, AWS Security Assurance Services

The AWS Security Assurance Services team, within the Global Services, Security (GSS) department, is seeking a talented Practice Manager to help expand the Security Assurance practice. This role entails educating our customers on how our product-led, people-powered services enable secure operations on AWS while ensuring compliance objectives are met. You will work with multiple lines of business, contributing to a variety of security and compliance use cases.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of consultants focused on enabling customers to move their workloads and regulated data to the cloud, addressing specific risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Define security, compliance, and risk management approaches to help customers understand how to safely transition sensitive workloads to the cloud.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to relay partner and customer feedback for input into AWS technology roadmaps.
• Engage with customers to resolve security assurance questions and guide them in managing risk while achieving security and compliance objectives in the AWS Cloud.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with strategic stakeholders to support business development and customer success efforts of AWS Security Assurance Services.
• Assist AWS sellers in positioning the value and applicability of your team within customer projects and fostering long-term relationships.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

• Expertise in governance, risk, compliance, and security management.
• Experience in building teams that define and execute security and compliance strategies.
• Proven ability to engage in strategic presentations and hands-on demonstrations related to automating compliance in AWS environments.
