About the Role
This position requires a strategic leader with a strong expertise in enterprise technology architecture, cloud computing, and Data & AI platform ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading large-scale technology transformation programs across government and enterprise sectors, ensuring a solid understanding of Data Governance, AI governance, cybersecurity controls, and secure AI deployment practices. Proven capability in developing and commercializing technology offerings, accelerators, and reusable solution frameworks is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology consulting, multi-cloud architecture, data platform delivery, and AI technology.
• Minimum 6 years in a leadership role managing a large managed services business along with medium to large-sized team resources.
• Deep expertise in sovereign architecture, multi-cloud strategy, Azure / AWS / GCP ecosystems, private cloud, Oracle, and Informatica platforms.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity-aligned architecture and compliance with data sovereignty and security frameworks.

Skills

• Strong expertise in Data & AI strategy, including Data Governance, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI.
• Experience leading large-scale technology transformation programs across government and enterprise sectors.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic roadmap for the Technology Practice, covering sovereign architecture, multi-cloud, data platforms, AI infrastructure, and cybersecurity alignment.
• Grow revenue and expand the technology consulting footprint across government and enterprise sectors.
• Identify, assess, and pursue emerging technology opportunities (e.g., edge AI, sovereign cloud, private LLM infrastructure, zero-trust architecture).
• Set P&L targets, build business cases for technology investments, and report practice performance to the BU Leader and Board.
• Drive revenue growth by shaping sovereign technology solutions, leading high-performing teams, governing large-scale programs, and building trusted executive relationships across government and enterprise sectors.
• Originating and securing strategic technology advisory and solutioning engagements, leading complex RFPs and commercial structuring, and strengthening ecosystem partnerships to deliver secure, scalable, and value-driven multi-cloud solutions.
• Shape the sovereign Data & AI technology vision, ensuring offerings are aligned to national digital agendas and regulatory frameworks.
• Advise clients on multi-cloud strategy, sovereign cloud adoption, private AI infrastructure, and enterprise data architecture decisions.
• Establish and strengthen trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and key stakeholders across strategic government and enterprise organizations, while engaging with regulators and public sector entities on sovereign AI, data localization, and cybersecurity compliance matters.
• Develop and expand strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, technology vendors, and sovereign infrastructure providers, while collaborating closely with Advisory and Delivery teams to ensure commercially viable and client-ready technology solutions.

Operational Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for technology architecture, platform delivery, and AI implementation engagements, ensuring successful execution and alignment with client objectives.
• Lead technical solutioning activities for major programs, including architecture assessments, platform selection, solution design, and proof-of-concept development.
• Develop and commercialize technology offerings focused on multi-cloud platforms, enterprise data ecosystems, and AI infrastructure capabilities.
• Maintain and enhance the organization’s technology capability framework by identifying skill gaps and driving targeted hiring, training, and capability development initiatives.
• Build and maintain reusable technical assets including reference architectures, solution blueprints, and delivery accelerators to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Establish and manage partnerships with technology vendors and training providers to strengthen technical expertise across emerging platforms & tools.
• Manage critical delivery escalations and provide direct intervention to resolve complex technical and program-related issues impacting client outcomes.
• Ensure all technology engagements comply with cybersecurity standards, data privacy regulations, and sovereign infrastructure requirements.
• Oversee resource allocation and workforce planning across the Technology Practice, ensuring effective utilization of specialized talent across concurrent engagements.
• Monitor and manage practice financial performance, including billing, profitability, utilization, and cost optimization, while taking corrective action where required.
• Review and approve statements of work, resource plans, delivery models, and commercial terms for technology engagements.
• Establish and enforce governance, architecture assurance, quality control, and compliance standards across all engagements, while providing regular performance, pipeline, and capability updates to business leadership.

People Management Responsibilities

• Ensure the culture of the practice is aligned with the overall culture and ways of working of the organization.
• Track the progress and offer support for the advancement of knowledge and skills.
• Provide guidance and direction to direct reports by managing their performance through appropriate feedback, coaching, and counseling.
• Provide inputs about project team members in their performance appraisal and recommendations for promotion and bonuses/incentives.
• Participate in recruitment and retention activities actively.
• Support leadership & functional capability building initiatives through training as per organization’s guidelines.
• Facilitate succession planning for critical roles within the practice unit.
• Provide strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides employees to efficiently perform and achieve customer delivery excellence.
• Foster a high level of employee engagement and retention of talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree (MBA, MSc) from a recognized institution is strongly preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications in cloud platforms and enterprise architecture are highly valued.
