In this role within the KSA sales team of Thales SIX PRS SEC, you will be responsible for developing order intake for Thales Security Solutions & Services and accelerating its growth in Saudi Arabia across four business areas: Critical Infrastructure Protection, Airport Security, Large Events and Crisis Management, and Safe & Smart Cities. Your extensive sales skills and robust business background in the region, particularly in the security domain, will be vital in achieving sales targets. As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will act as a technical expert on data security projects, collaborating closely with regional sales teams to leverage a market-leading data protection portfolio that includes CipherTrust Manager, High-Speed Encryption, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and data monitoring and auditing solutions.

Key responsibilities involve acting as a technical advisor during sales engagements, understanding customer requirements, delivering demos and proof-of-concepts, and supporting configuration and customization of solutions. You will need to develop a profound understanding of data encryption and cloud security technologies, while also assisting with integration and APIs for third-party applications. This role requires a blend of technical problem-solving and strong client-facing communication skills and is predominantly based in Riyadh with some travel required (around 20%) within the Middle East.
To be qualified for this position, candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering roles, particularly within Information Security. Strong communication skills and experience engaging with C-level executives and technical teams are essential, along with a proven ability in technical solution design. Hands-on experience with cryptography, cloud platforms, and data monitoring tools is expected.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or equivalent work experience is required. Preferred technical skills include extensive knowledge of cryptography and encryption, API integration, and familiarity with cloud environments and virtualization technologies. Soft skills valued in this position include strong verbal communication, a collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
