The Presales Consultant – Digital Transformation supports the DT presales function by preparing proposals, responding to RFPs/RFQs, conducting solution demonstrations, and engaging with customers across the UAE public services and SME segments. Duties & Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support & Proposal Preparation
- Support end-to-end presales activities across the organization’s DT portfolio, focusing on low-code / no-code (LCNC) solutions and related workflow, automation, CRM, and ECM offerings.
- Prepare technical proposals, commercial proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, BOQ and SOW documentation, and clarification responses in coordination with the sales team.
- Conduct solution demonstrations, discovery sessions, and customer-facing presentations to support the sales team across assigned opportunities.
- Engage with customers to understand business needs, processes, and expected outcomes, mapping requirements to appropriate solutions within the DT portfolio.
- Coordinate with delivery teams to validate scope, effort, timelines, and implementation approach before proposal submission.
- Support multiple opportunities simultaneously from qualification through to handover, ensuring quality and turnaround time across all deliverables.
Commercial & Sales Support
- Assist with pricing, BOQ development, and commercial modeling in coordination with the Head of Sales and relevant vendors or delivery leads.
- Review vendor quotations and flag commercial risks, scope gaps, or pricing concerns before submissions.
- Support the sales team on opportunity strategy, solution positioning, and cross-selling across DT offerings.
- Maintain proposal quality, documentation standards, and reusable materials (templates, use cases, enablement content) to improve team efficiency.
Portfolio & Market Knowledge
- Build working knowledge across the DT portfolio over time, including ECM/EDM, workflow/BPM, digital signature, scanning, and automation, to support cross-solution proposals where needed.
- Stay aware of public sector and SME market dynamics in the UAE; understand how these segments buy, procure, and evaluate technology solutions.
- Track and flag competitor activities, new vendor capabilities, and emerging platform features relevant to the DT portfolio.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business growth and the evolving needs of the Digital Services function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Vendor or product certification in an LCNC or automation platform (e.g. OutSystems, UI Path, Mendix, Nintex) is a strong advantage.
- 3–7 years of presales or solution consulting experience within a systems integrator (SI), DT consulting firm, or LCNC/automation vendor ecosystem. UAE experience is mandatory.
- Experience with low-code / no-code (LCNC) platforms such as OutSystems, Joget, Mendix, Appian or similar.
- Knowledge of workflow and process automation tools (Nintex, Power Automate, UI Path).
- Familiarity with CRM solutions (Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
- Exposure to ERP systems (Odoo or similar SME-focused ERPs).
- Understanding of ECM / EDM solutions (M-Files, Doxis, SharePoint, Egnyte).
- Proposal writing, RFP/RFQ response, BOQ and SOW preparation skills.
- Solution demonstration and customer-facing presentation skills.
- Background in systems integrator or DT consulting firm preferred over pure vendor profiles; experience in the UAE public sector or SME market is essential.
- Active experience with OutSystems, UI Path, Mendix or similar LCNC/automation platforms.
- Basic understanding of cloud and infrastructure security.
