Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and objectives, effectively communicating the technical aspects of our network and security solutions.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our network and security offerings, tailored to specific client needs.
- Assess customer networks, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance their security posture.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, including detailed network designs, configurations, and implementation strategies, to meet client requirements and exceed their expectations.
- Work closely with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and market trends, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Provide comprehensive technical guidance and support to clients during the sales process, addressing any concerns or inquiries to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to network and security solutions, sharing this knowledge with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in presales engineering, particularly in the network and security domain, with a strong understanding of industry standards and protocols.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and network protocols, along with a solid understanding of security principles such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency in assessing and analyzing network security risks, recommending and implementing appropriate security solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A customer-centric approach with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
