The Technical Presales Engineer will be responsible for driving Networking, Security, Computing, Storage, and Cloud solutions through channel partners and customers. This mid-level technical role focuses on solution design, technical proposals, product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and customer and partner engagements.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements, develop appropriate solution architectures, and translate business and technical needs into technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
- Design and propose Networking, Security, Computing, Storage, and Cloud solutions.
- Provide technical presales support to channel partners, resellers, and sales teams.
- Prepare BoQs, technical proposals, HLD/LLD, RFP/RFQ responses, and compliance matrices.
- Conduct customer/partner presentations, product demonstrations, and PoCs.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend technically and commercially viable solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams and channel partners for solution validation and technical support.
- Provide partner enablement, technical training, and solution guidance.
- Support sales teams in opportunity development, solution positioning, and competitive analysis.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in ICT/Networking Presales, preferably within a distributor or system integrator environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking, wireless, security, servers, storage, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience with Networking, Wireless, Server, and Storage products and solutions is preferred.
- Strong skills in solution design, BoQ preparation, technical proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses.
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN, WLAN, Data Center, Network Security, and Cloud technologies.
- Ability to accurately interpret network diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
- Relevant networking, wireless, security, or vendor certifications are an advantage.
- Experience working with distributors, channel partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers is preferred.
