Key responsibilities include:
- Leading innovation by exploring new technology improvements in AI and conducting proofs of concept (POCs) for business cases.
- Developing scalable prototypes using Gen AI and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Mentoring team members with AI expertise and guiding their upskilling through internal and external training.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify AI-driven opportunities.
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives, ensuring models adhere to regulatory and governance requirements.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams in the delivery of critical AI applications and platforms.
Key Result Areas:
- Serve as a strategic AI/ML leader, identifying and executing use cases that enhance automation and operational optimization.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications that align with AI/ML models and data pipelines.
- Conduct system and process analyses to identify opportunities for AI integration.
- Prepare scenarios and test data for POCs and internal testing without QA team dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards focusing on ethical AI and data privacy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 18+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML application development, with a focus on Generative AI.
- Proficient in Python programming and familiar with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
- Strong understanding of both fundamental and advanced ML/GenAI techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), Kubernetes/Docker, and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Generative AI models and familiarity with open-source models.
- Experience working as a functional consultant in banking product design.
