The Principal Application Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of application and integration solutions in line with the enterprise architecture strategy. This role involves leading and introducing the overall technical vision and high-level design for specific solutions, identifying the best technical solutions to address existing business challenges. The Architect will also participate in architecture governance forums, ensuring that all architecture activities and deliverables are produced to high quality and aligned with D360's standards, policies, and strategies. While the focus will primarily be on CX (Customer Experience) and Marketing Platform solutions, there may be opportunities to work on other types of solutions as needed.

Responsibilities
- Formulate the conceptual and detailed architecture for the development of CX (Sprinklr) and Marketing Platform applications.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure call center architectures that align with business and technical requirements, emphasizing IVR and ACD systems.
- Design and execute comprehensive technology strategies for call centers, focusing on CTI integration and enhancing omnichannel customer experiences.
- Create high-level application and integration solution designs.
- Conduct system architecture evaluations to define target architectures and transitional roadmaps.
- Ensure solutions are integrated with existing bank applications through APIs and integrations.
- Implement robust security practices and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive customer data across all interaction channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality customer care solutions, including chat and voice bots, while mentoring development teams.
- Conduct technical reviews of design and code delivered by in-house and outsourced teams, ensuring compliance with solution design and security standards.
- Participate in architecture governance, present solutions for review, and perform peer reviews of designs from other architects.
- Explore and experiment with new tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve solutions and innovate.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Tertiary level qualification in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in development, serving as a subject matter expert and leading design work in key areas.
- Expertise in Microservice and Event Driven Architectures is essential.
- Hands-on experience in CX, particularly with Sprinklr, and/or Marketing Platform solutions.
- Proven ability to link technical contributions to business impact.
- Experience in defining application architectures and data models, as well as building cloud-based solutions.
- Knowledge of security, data protection, and secure coding practices.
