Principal Applied Scientist

The Principal Applied Scientist will lead the development of innovative AI solutions, focusing on computer vision and natural language processing. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, you will collaborate with engineering teams to optimize AI algorithms and contribute to impactful projects across various industries. A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the design, analysis, and optimization of foundational and applied research to power state-of-the-art AI algorithms and model capabilities.
• Work on comprehensive solutions that integrate various modalities, including text, audio, and visual data, enhancing AI's ability to understand and interpret human interaction.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across teams to design, develop, and continuously improve AI algorithms, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Work alongside product development teams to integrate new algorithms and models into broader product offerings and conduct proofs of concept (POC) as per client needs.
• Propose scenarios where AI techniques could improve the efficiency of customers’ businesses.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to the business development team.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or an AI-related field, with a specialization in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Speech and Audio highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in developing AI algorithms for various modalities.
• Track record of conducting high-level research, preferably evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals or a history of product-driven research and development.
