The company, a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, is driving transformative technology solutions globally. We are seeking a Principal Platform Architect specializing in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platform infrastructure. This role will involve defining and driving the long-term architecture strategy for the company's container platforms and cloud-native ecosystem.
As a senior technical leader, you will be responsible for shaping the architecture, standards, governance, and evolution of Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms across various cloud environments. Your focus will be on building scalable, secure, resilient, and operationally mature platform capabilities that support enterprise workloads, managed services, AI/ML platforms, and customer-facing cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the long-term architecture vision and roadmap for Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud-native platform services.
- Design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available multi-cluster architectures for enterprise applications.
- Lead architecture decisions for Kubernetes platforms, automation, observability, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Architect integration patterns between Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms and various infrastructure services.
- Establish platform security architecture and governance.
- Define observability strategies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Communicate architectural strategies to stakeholders and mentor teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology discipline.
- Over 12 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud platforms, or platform engineering with hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Proven experience in defining enterprise platform-architecture strategies.
- Strong understanding of cloud-computing models, networking, security, and observability platforms.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives and influence cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OpenStack and AI/machine-learning platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise-architecture methodologies and relevant certifications in Kubernetes, OpenShift, or cloud computing.
Language Requirements: English proficiency is essential.
