Responsibilities
Functional:
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced algorithms and models to solve complex problems, aligning with strategic company goals.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations, directly impacting enterprise and public sector digital transformations.
- Oversee a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development in AI and cloud computing fields.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity and cloud, to integrate multi-disciplinary tech solutions seamlessly.
- Innovate with generative AI approaches, setting new benchmarks for solution deployment on a national scale.
- Advocate for a data-driven culture, implementing best practices in data management, processing, and analysis.
- Ensure the security and privacy of data in accordance with the latest cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Proactively identify advancements in AI and cloud computing, integrating emerging technologies into our service offerings.
- Communicate complex data concepts and the value of analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and attributes for success
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning technologies
- Mastery of data science and analytics
- Experience in cloud computing infrastructure and platforms

Qualifications
- Certifications in data science, AI or cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- Minimum of 10 years general experience with a technological focus
- At least 5 years of specific experience in data science within a cloud platform environment
- Experience with the latest tools in big data, analytics suites, and machine learning frameworks
- PhD or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field will be a plus
