Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical system layout drawings.
- Produce wiring diagrams and the associated 3D harnesses.
- Create complete harness manufacturing data packs for production.
- Manage configuration of manufacturing data packs within the PLM/PDM system.
- Collaborate with specialists in a multidisciplinary team.
- Follow relevant electrical design and aviation standards.
- Create and manage complex aircraft assemblies.
- Utilize PDM/PLM systems to manage CAD data and product lifecycle documentation.
- Support prototype development, testing activities, and production implementation.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding design requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and quality checks for compliance with project specifications.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues.
- Maintain standardized CAD practices, templates, and design methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards and airworthiness requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and project discussions.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Preferred: Additional certification or specialized training in CATIA and/or SolidWorks.
- Desired: Training in engineering drawing standards and aerospace drafting practices.
- Knowledge of aircraft design principles, manufacturing processes, and configuration management.
- 11–15 years of work experience in an Electrical design environment within the Aerospace/Aviation industry.
Technical Tools:
- Proficiency in CAD packages.
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems.
- Understanding of electrical harness manufacturing requirements.
- Ability to perform basic design calculations.
- Good general PC skills.
