Principal Engineer – Guidance and Control

The Principal Engineer for Guidance and Control serves as a senior technical leader responsible for developing and implementing guidance and control systems. The role supports the Department Manager, provides technical direction, mentors engineers across all levels, and drives capability development. The position also leads the investigation and integration of advanced technologies to strengthen the company's G&C capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage departmental capabilities in:
  • Simulation
  • Guidance and Control
  • Tracking Systems
  • Software Development (SIL/PIL)
  • Lab Testing & Performance Verification
  • Mission Planning
• Guide and mentor Engineers.
• Support pre-flight preparation and participate in flight testing.
• Conduct post-flight analysis and performance verification.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to G&C.
• Support adoption of new methodologies, architectures, and algorithms.
• Develop and expand G&C engineering capabilities and establish required infrastructure, laboratories, and supporting tools.

Experience & Qualifications
Required:

• 10–15 years of experience in guided weapon systems or advanced aerospace/defence technologies.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering management or technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of guided weapon system development, guidance and control engineering, and systems engineering.

Preferred:

• Experience in leading aerospace or defence organizations.
• Expertise in simulation, algorithm development, and mission systems.
