As a Principal Engineer in our Solutions Architecture team, you will lead high-impact initiatives centered on the company storage solutions, including the company PowerScale and ObjectScale. You will own end-to-end architectures and complex integration strategies across enterprise and AI-driven environments. What You’ll Achieve
You will architect and lead the design and implementation of storage solutions that support our customers' strategic, operational, and financial goals. Your role includes:
- Architect & Design: Create architectural designs and implementation plans for the company PowerScale and ObjectScale deployments, emphasizing AI and data-intensive workloads.
- Drive Migrations & Integrations: Lead data migrations using both native the company and third-party tooling and integrate the company storage with analytics, AI, and cloud-native platforms.
- Install, Customize & Integrate: Oversee the installation, customization, and integration of PowerScale and ObjectScale across diverse customer environments.
- Validate & Benchmark: Conduct design reviews, proof of concepts (PoCs), and performance benchmarking to validate PowerScale and ObjectScale architectures against customer requirements.
- Standardize & Mentor: Document reusable design standards and reference architectures for block, file, and object storage while mentoring engineers in advanced design and delivery excellence.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should have the following qualifications:
Essential Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise storage architecture, design, and delivery.
- Proven track record in the delivery of complex storage design architectures, large-scale integrations, and data migrations across heterogeneous environments.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing the company storage solutions in AI/ML, analytics, and high-performance computing projects.
- An automation-first mindset with practical experience applying automation across build, test, and deploy pipelines to accelerate delivery and ensure repeatability.
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
