The company is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team, with the opportunity for relocation to Lithuania. We are at the forefront of delivering innovative technological solutions that help businesses globally transform and adapt. In this role, you will engage in building AI-native solutions where large language models (LLMs) are central to our products' value.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing agentic systems, writing production-level code, and collaborating with subject matter experts to derive genuine value from your work. Your efforts will shape feedback loops, ensure system efficacy, and adhere to engineering excellence standards.
This position offers the flexibility to work from any location in Lithuania, whether from home or in our dynamic offices situated in Vilnius and Kaunas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI-native systems, including agents and workflows.
- Write production-grade Python code for integrations, APIs, and data management.
- Collaborate directly with SMEs and end-users to understand requirements.
- Create evaluation pipelines to validate system utility.
- Implement robust design strategies for system resilience and human-in-the-loop actions.
- Ensure compliance with engineering excellence standards, including test-driven development.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, specializing in production AI and LLM applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain or significant LLM providers.
- Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques and vector databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD processes.
- Demonstrated capacity to work with clients and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- C1 level proficiency in the English language.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with A/B testing and iterating AI products based on user behavior.
- Background in NLP, Data Science, or applied machine learning.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and emerging agent standards.

Salary Range: €5,000 - €7,000 gross, based on experience and interview results.
