In this role, you will be part of a team building AI-native solutions for our clients, focusing on products where Large Language Models (LLM) are core to the value. This position entails designing and implementing agentic systems, writing production code, and establishing evaluations and observability. The role involves closely collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and end-users to derive true value and to design efficient feedback loops.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and ship end-to-end AI-native systems including agents, workflows, RAG, and integration harnesses.
- Write production-grade Python code for integrations, APIs, data access, and deployment.
- Collaborate with SMEs and end-users through interviews, user acceptance testing, and workflow observations.
- Engage early in projects to shape use cases and assess technical feasibility.
- Develop evaluation pipelines to prove system utility.
- Implement strategies for failure management, including retries and model fallbacks.
- Capture domain expertise and establish repeatable workflows to ensure success across engagements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in collaboration with the team.
- Ensure adherence to engineering excellence standards such as test-driven development and continuous integration.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, specifically in production AI and LLM applications.
- Expert-level Python programming skills and robust software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel, and experience with major LLM providers.
- Strong RAG and retrieval skills, including vector databases, embeddings, and hybrid search.
- Experience with production deployment on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containerization and CI/CD.
- Proven track record in evaluating generative AI quality using custom evaluation frameworks and observability tools.
- Adept at working closely with clients, leading discovery conversations, and communicating technical trade-offs to diverse audiences.
- Strong judgment in agent design and engineering, balancing speed, quality, and scope.
- Language Requirement: C1 level English proficiency.
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in designing experiments, A/B testing, and iterating on AI products based on user behavior.
- Background in NLP, Data Science, or applied machine learning with experience in production.
- Familiarity with AI governance, security, and compliance.
