The Principal Infrastructure Architect will serve as the strategic technical leader responsible for designing, validating, and implementing robust and scalable architectures for data analytics and AI solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end technical solutions and architectures based on in-house build products aligned with business requirements.
- Lead technical evaluations of new solutions, including hardware sizing and recommendations for infrastructure security, storage policies, and system integrations.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including technical standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in pre-sales activities, including customer engagements, technical presentations, and proposal development.
- Conduct technical risk assessments, proactively identifying and mitigating potential architectural risks.
- Collaborate closely with product and technical leads to ensure solutions meet both technical and strategic goals.
- Lead project kickoffs from an infrastructure and deployment perspective.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software architecture, solution architecture, or related technical roles.
- Proven expertise in architecting large-scale data analytics and AI-driven solutions.
- Deep understanding of hardware sizing, infrastructure design, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and system integration.
- Strong experience with infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and modern deployment methodologies.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, present solutions, and influence stakeholders across multiple levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF).
- Experience with big data technologies and analytics platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Background in a customer-facing technical role, providing technical guidance during sales cycles or customer engagements.
