About the Role
The modular Data Centers have driven tremendous growth in the segment over recent years. The Prefabricated Data Center C&SP One Solution MEA integrates the company's products into modular enclosures, tests the systems in the factory, and delivers the final solution to the destination country. As a PreFab Solution Architect, you will work on projects of medium to high technical and commercial complexity. Your role primarily involves supporting early selling stages by providing expertise on the company's system and architecture platform. You will support the Opportunity Pursuit Leader by understanding the customer's business requirements and constraints, and using validated architecture designs to meet those requirements and deliver a differentiating value proposition. Additionally, you'll help explain and demonstrate the technical advantages of the architecture and address deep technical questions regarding the integration and compatibility of components within an architecture. Your focus will mainly be on Data Center Systems and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers.

Main Responsibilities
- Capitalize on in-depth knowledge of customer processes, applications, and decision criteria within the segment.
- Work closely with Sales to provide a differentiating value proposition to the customer, leveraging the company's complete portfolio, including electrical, mechanical, structural, and fire systems.
- Understand the customer's segment-specific business challenges, processes, needs, requirements, and constraints to propose optimal solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, technical consultant, and process expert to implement the company's cross-domain segment solutions.
- Define, customize, and create Tested, Validated & Documented Architectures (TVDA) to meet customer expectations and create differentiating value propositions.
- Assist in establishing solution strategy and best practices.
- Review customer RFQs and create the Compliance, Deviations, and Exceptions list.
- Influence customer RFQs by translating them into potential technological solutions.
- Provide complex technical designs, including technical proposals for commercial submissions.
- Coordinate internally with business units involved in the tendering stage.
- Collaborate with clients and development teams to devise recommended solutions, providing direct support during meetings and presentations.
- Present recommended solutions to clients for validation and improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and applications, demonstrating an understanding of essential knowledge, processes, and terminology.
- Keep abreast of technological developments and applications to initiate enhanced solutions.
- Identify and promote actions that foster the development of technological solutions for customers.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among key stakeholders, including customers, company entities, and factories.
Main Interactions
- Reports to the C&SP One Solution Technology and Engineering Center MEA.
- Internal interactions with Sales Manager, Opportunity Leader, intra-group suppliers, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
- External interactions with customers and outside group suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering.
- Over 10 years of experience in the Data Center Industry, including but not limited to Secure Power Systems, Cooling Systems, and Electrical and Mechanical installations.
- Certification in Uptime and/or Data Center Dynamics or demonstrated similar knowledge and experience.
- Previous customer-facing roles are preferred.
- Effective teamwork and results-driven approach.
- Strong organization and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Persuasive and convincing skills.
- Capacity for autonomy, initiative, and proactivity.
- Decision-making ability, including escalation when necessary.
- Ability to foster cooperation and motivate individuals within a multicultural environment and across different time zones.
- Knowledge of the company's offers and applications, including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Low Voltage Electrical Panels, MV Equipment, and Cooling Units.
- Proficient in computer tools at the user level, including Uninet, SE Design Portal, and ISX.
- Familiar with Building Information Modeling and BIM tools (REVIT).
- Fluent in English (C1 level).
