About the Role
The modular Data Centers have been driving tremendous growth to the segment in recent years. The Prefabricated Data Center C&SP One Solution MEA integrates the company's products into modular enclosures, tests the systems in the factory, and delivers the final solution to the country of destination.
As a PreFab Solution Architect, you will work on projects of medium to high technical and commercial complexity. Your primary responsibility will be to support early selling stages by providing expertise in the company's system and architecture platform. You will work alongside the Opportunity Pursuit Leader to understand customer business requirements and constraints, and utilize validated architecture designs to address those needs while presenting a differentiating value proposition. You will explain and demonstrate the technical advantages of the architecture, addressing deep technical questions regarding component integration and compatibility, focusing primarily on Data Center Systems and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers.

Main Responsibilities
- Capitalize on in-depth knowledge of customer processes, applications, and decision criteria in the segment, collaborating closely with Sales in the Europe and South America regions to offer comprehensive solutions.
- Support the Sales force and customers as a trusted advisor, technical consultant, and process expert to implement the company's cross-domain segment solutions.
- Define, customize, and create Tested, Validated & Documented Architectures (TVDA) to meet customer requirements and achieve a differentiating value proposition, while designing optimized and valid architectures fulfilling functional specifications.
- Establish solution strategy and best practices.
- Review customer RFQ and create lists for Compliance, Deviations, and Exceptions.
- Influence customer RFQs by translating requirements into viable technological solutions.
- Provide complex technical designs and technical proposals to be included in commercial proposals.
- Coordinate internally with Business Units involved in the tendering stage.
- Work alongside the client and development team to arrive at recommended solutions, providing direct support in meetings and presentations.
- Present recommended solutions to clients for validation and improvements.
- Utilize a solid knowledge of the company's products and their applications, demonstrating understanding of relevant processes and terminology.
- Stay informed about technological developments to initiate enhanced solutions.
- Identify and promote actions that lead to the development of customer-oriented technological solutions.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively among key stakeholders, including customers, the company's entities, and factories.
Main Interactions
- Reports to the C&SP One Solution Technology and Engineering Center MEA.
- Internal: Sales Manager, Opportunity Leader, Intra Group suppliers, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality.
- External: Customers and Outside Group suppliers.
What's in it for Me?
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Data Center Industry, including Secure Power Systems, Cooling systems, and Electrical and Mechanical installations.
- Certification in Uptime and/or Data Center Dynamics, or demonstrated similar knowledge and experience.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and be results-driven.

- Knowledge of the company's offers and applications including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), low voltage electrical panels, MV equipment, Cooling units, etc.
- Proficiency in user-level computer tools such as Uninet, SE Design Portal, and ISX.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modelling and BIM tools (REVIT).
- Fluency in English is essential (C1).
