The Principal OT Security Solution Architect plays a crucial role at the company, an e& enterprise company, focusing strongly on sales to drive increased business. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in pre-sales activities, such as client meetings, solution positioning, requirements gathering, and proposal creation.
- Coordinating proof of concept activities and acting as a technical account manager for key clients.
- Managing technical vendor relationships and enabling internal expertise.
- Ensuring customer success in terms of technology architecture and solution deployment while working closely with the implementation team.
- Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling during client interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales: Assist Business Development Managers in client meetings, technical solution positioning, and managing customer expectations.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
- Guide strategic account planning and ensure technical success of implementations.
- Support the sales process with high-quality technical content for proposals and define scopes of work.
- Manage and monitor proof of concept processes including success criteria and timelines.
- Act as a subject matter expert in OT security, providing training and updates to team members.
- Create and maintain technical documentation relevant to OT security, including design concepts and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of general OT cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience designing defense mechanisms for SCADA environments.
- Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., EC 62443, IEC 62351).
- Relevant experience with solutions from vendors like Nozomi, Tenable, and IBM.
- Key understanding of IT security concepts and integration methodologies.
- Strong consulting and pre-sales skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details simply.
- Excellent written and verbal command of English.
